User synchronisation via API with SCIM

DataGalaxy provides SCIM v2.0 (System for Cross-domain Identity Management v2.0) compliant routes to manage user synchronization from a third party directory.

These routes allow you to have a list of users always synchronized between your enterprise directory (i.e. Azure Active Directory) and DataGalaxy. Once SCIM is in place, you no longer need to update users in DataGalaxy, these operations are done automatically when the master directory is modified.

The routes allowing to manage this synchronization are active by default. To use them, you must have a token with administrative rights on the client space to synchronize. You can find more information on how APIs work and how to generate a token in the DataGalaxy API Getting Started Guide.

This guide includes information on how to retrieve the URL of your public API and a link to the documentation of the API routes that you may be asked for when configuring SCIM.
