Setting Up SSO: Where to Start?

Depending on the subscription type you have with DataGalaxy, this feature may be included in your plan. Don’t hesitate to reach out to your Account Manager.

The following guidelines are applicable to customers hosted on the Datagalaxy infrastructure.

For ‘on-premises’ hosting, please contact your account manager.

The SSO (Single Sign-On) option involves setting up and activating single sign-on authentication. This feature allows a user to access DataGalaxy by performing a single authentication through your information system.

Today, we support two protocols: SAMLv2 and OIDC.

Please note that only authentication is delegated to your identity provider; permissions are still defined within DataGalaxy.

There are 3 possible cases, each requiring distinct procedures:

1 - Dedicated instance with an access URL of the type: clientspace.datagalaxy.com

Follow this link

2 - Shared instance with a customized URL, with an access URL of the type: clientspace.app.datagalaxy.com
Not available before mid-2025. In the meantime, contact your Account Manager, who will propose a migration to a dedicated instance.

3 - Shared instance without a customized URL, with an access URL of the type: app.datagalaxy.com, app.ch.datagalaxy.com, app.us.1.datagalaxy.com, app.fr.datagalaxy.com,...

Not available before mid-2025. In the meantime, contact your Account Manager, who will propose a migration to a dedicated instance.
