What is the DataGalaxy Connector
We have developed the DataGalaxy connector to address this issue. With the connector you can extract information from you data sources, data processings and analytics tools and import those data into DataGalaxy. This way you can populate the data dictionary, the data processings and usage catalogs.
There is two versions of the conector
- The online conector : No download is necessary, everything is done directly from the platform. Its the quicker and easier way to use the connector. Read this article to find out more about the online connector
- The desktop connector : this version must be downloaded and set up before use. This is why, this version is for advanced user. Please read this article to find out more.
Who can use it?
The tool cannot create, modify or delete records in your databases, flow management or reporting tool. This process is completely secure for your systems : the connector only retrieves metadata without performing any operations on the data.
