DataGalaxy is a data catalog. It is part of the global context of the digital transformation of organisations (find out more in this article). The platform's objective is to build a 360° vision of data to improve data culture by all, whether they are from a business or IT background.
Strategy module

Governance module
The Governance Center in DataGalaxy turns your governance model into an actionable, centralized system. It connects policies, rules, and monitors directly to your data assets, making governance visible, navigable, and operational for everyone: business and technical users alike.
Products module
Data & AI product module let teams package datasets, analytics, and models into business-ready products that are trusted, documented, and reusable. These products combine technical assets and metadata with governance, ownership, and business alignment, making data consumption-ready and scalable across domains.
Catalog Modules
We build 4 modules to map and document data. These 4 modules answer the 4 main questions that can be asked about data:

- Where? The data dictionary is a comprehensive inventory of the data available in an organization's IT landscape. More about the dictionary in this article.
- How? The data processing catalog describes the data flow and transformations across the data sources available in the Data Dictionary.More about the processings in this article
The business glossary and the usages catalog are specifically designed to document data objects from a business perspective. On the opposite, the dictionary and data processing catalog are designed for users with an IT background.
DataGalaxy Metamodel
Each one of these modules is built upon objects (reports, indicators, database, flows...) used to document your data. In order to provide a 360° view of your data, these objects can be linked to each other.. The object + links combination is what we call the metamodel. This is a core concept.
