Update Catalog Objects via MCP Server
The MCP Server now supports updating objects in the catalog.
Using an AI agent, you can automatically enrich and maintain catalog objects by:
- Generating or updating descriptions
- Assigning tags and statuses
- Setting owners and stewards
- Populating custom attributes
Updates can be based on user instructions, information from related catalog objects, or analysis performed by the agent.
This capability is currently available by request. To enable it for your environment, please contact your Account Manager.
News widget update - bigger, bolder, instant
We've rolled out three improvements to the News widget on your Workspace Home:
A much bigger news block: the widget is now around ten times larger, so you can see far more updates at a glance instead of scrolling through them one at a time.
A more visible image zone: article images now stand out clearly, making each post easier to spot and more engaging to read.
No more refreshing: when you create a new article, it appears in the widget right away. The old "refresh the page to see your post" step is gone.
