Limit the number of level
Limit the number of levels to 4 or 5 between the root and the most detailed level
Manage groupings
You must have between 3 and 20 direct childrens. Indeed:
- Less than 3 direct childrens: The number of objects is not optimized. On the one hand it is necessary to multiply the objects at the N level, on the other hand it is necessary an additional click to reach the detailed information
- More than 20 direct childrens: The eye has more difficulty to find and distinguish quickly the objects which interest it. With a maximum of 20 children on 5 levels, you can already manage 3.2 million business terms in the glossary.
